Snowflake Treat Holder

Hi, as promised, i am going to show you my first stamping project. It is a snowflake treatholder gift tag. This is a simple, quick project which uses Stampin Up! Sweet Treat Cups.

Instructions: I used the Cricut cartridge "When It's Cold Outside" and the Cricut Expressions Cutter but any die cutting machine plus a large snowflake die will work.
Supplies: Stampin Up! Whisper white cardstock
Stampin Up! Brocade Blue Cardstock
Stampin Up! Sweet Treat Cup
Glue
Glitter
Mini Marshmallows or tiny white candies
Circle punch 1-3/4", circle punch 2"

1. Cut white snowflake, cut blue snowflake for background. (With a Cricut, you can either cut the blue one with the "Shadow Setting" if that is an option or cut it 1/4" bigger than the white one.)
2. Punch 1-3/4" circle in centre of snowflake(white one) or use a circle cutter to do this.
3. Cut or punch a 2" circle out of white cardstock as well.
4. Fill Sweet Treat cup with marshmallows.
5. Peel backing from rim of Treat Cup and adhere 2" circle to the edge.
6. Insert cup through circle in snowflake.
7. Glue the front snowflake and treat cup to the blue snowflake making sure it is centred.
8. Apply glue to spines of snowflake and sprinkle with glitter, tapping off excess.
9. Stamp "To" and "From" on back of ornament and attach a silver cord through a small hole through both layers of snowflake if desired.

I used Stampin Up! stamp set "Christmas Punch" for my "To" and "From".
