Hi,and Happy Halloween!!!
I know I am running behind but here is installment nine of the Ten Days of Halloween Ideas. This is a really quick project and a way to give three Hershey's Miniatures at once. You could easily adapt the treat holder for any occasion by simply changing the colours and the stamps used.
I have included the instructions to make it here. Hope you enjoy!
Now for the tenth day ---- that will come tomorrow and it will be a project which will help you remember Halloween -or any other occasion. So stay tuned.
I will not be posting until tomorrow evening and I am sure you will want to check back then.
Now, just a note. Thank you to all of you who wished me well while I was ill. I really appreciate it and am pleased to say I am feeling MUCH better now.
Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!

The Ten Days-------------------#8
Hi, Sorry, Sorry Sorry!
I had thought I was over my bug but then it struck again and I spent the last 3 days in and out of bed. I am still not all better but am getting there - I hope.
Today's offering is two different pumpkin boxes. The first is a top note box with a wire handle. The latter is a tiny wee pumpkin which is big enough to hold individual candies or perhaps a pair of earrings for that special little girl (possibly spider earrings LOL).
These are two easy projects but they are also really cute.
Again I must apologize for the delay but this virus is going around work and I got it. I hope I am back on track now.
Here are the instructions for both boxes. Enjoy!
Talk to you tomorrow - I hope!

The Ten Days------------------------#7
Hi, again I must apologize but whatever bug has hit me completely knocked me out yesterday. I spent most of the day on the couch sleeping off and on. As a result, I am again behind in the Ten Days of Halloween Ideas. I do have #7 ready to go now so here it is.
I bought my husband some 15-stick packages of gum at Walmart the other day and decided that a holder for one would be a great treat idea. The gum package is 3" x 2 1/2" so the top note is the perfect size for the top on the box. The box itself is similar to a crayon box minus the lid.
I am sure I will make up a few of these to give to some of my adult friends for Trick-or-Treat as I am sure they will appreciate gum much more than the younger set will.
Here is the PDF instruction sheet so that you can get the measurements you need to make this treat holder. I used the Owl punch but you can decorate it any way you want.
See you later.

Just a note to tell you that the Design Team from Ubscripted Sketches will be having a blog hop tomorrow. Please check in any time after 8:00 a.m. to see our examples for the challenge this week.
Funky Ten Days-------------------------#6
Today I have a double post. My sixth day of Halloween Ideas is also my example for the Funky Friday Craft Challenge #77. The theme this week is Halloween so I decided to tie the two together. I did not do the PDf though so I will add it later today.
I thought the purple and blue colour combo was really spooky and very Halloween- like and the contrast between the cute little vampire and the haunted house works well together.
I used two stamp sets- House of Haunts and Fang-tastic for this treat holder. The background for the haunted house was brayered (one of my favourite techniques). To finish the picture, I punched some bats and stuck them on with dimensionals.
I am so glad I purchased these test tubes. Every time I turn around I am finding another use for them, That is a hint - if you think you will use something, pick it up and save it until the time is right.
Please visit Funky Friday and see the examples from the rest of the design team and maybe make your own Halloween project to share.

Batty Candy Wrapper
Hi again! Here is a little extra project for you. I made this bat using the new Candy Wrapper die and the Big Shot. Hope he gives you a chuckle!Happy Stamping!
The Ten Days---------------------#5
Today I have a treat box and a party invitation which go together very well. I will say right now that I am not really thrilled with the skeleton on top and I think I will make a change to him to try to make him spookier. On the other hand, I love the googly eyes on the invitation. In the PDf, I have included all the measurements you need to complete the projects. The only thing you have to remember is to measure acurately. If you don't, you will be very disappointed in your final results. Here are the instructions and measurements you will need. I hope you give it a try and also let me know what you think.
P.S. Here is a version of the coffin box which I like much better. Adding the bats gives the box some extra character. It was just a bit too big to be left so plain.
Happy Stamping!

The Ten Days ----------------#4
Hello!
Today's idea is a pouch which holds two mini candy bars - the perfect size to give as a treat to anyone special. This project is quick and easy to make.
You can decorate it as you want; I just happen to like creepy crawlies. And the sign with the gate on it is the exact size to fit the front of the treat holder. You might even want to change the colours around- purple, green and orange make a great Halloween combination.
As with the other projects for Halloween, the Instructions are included so that you can make it if you want to.
I hope you have the chance to complete a few for friends and family.
Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!

The Ten Days-----------------Day 3
Hi, It is day number three and today I have a card that is a candy holder---or is it the other way around. Recently I purchased some test tubes and I have used a 6" one in this project.
I could not resist putting a spooky front on the card but a frivolous interior. I like the contrast of the two.
I also used a brayer to make the card front. I love how that haunted house looks on a brayered background.
I hope you will give this card a try. The instructions are included here. You can change up the stamping and decorating as you please but you may find the measurements handy.
Until tomorrow,
Happy Stamping!

Unscripted Snow Angel
Morning all!
It is Unscripted Sketches Saturday again. And this week my entry uses this darling stamp which is very vintage Stampin Up! I do not even remember who gave it to me but it is from 1999 I think. I used DSP from the Holiday mini and (you cannot see it here) Dazzling Diamonds on the snow. This is a whimsical card that will remind us all of childhood play and how we NEVER got cold in the snow.

The Ten Days --------------#2
Hi, it is day # 2 of the Ten Days of Halloween Ideas and today I have a treat for you, two quick and easy projects.
The second project today is one using the Two Tags die and everyone's favourite tool - the Big Shot. I made Halloween party invitations to co-ordinate with each of the sour cream containers above. These also are very quick to come together and
you can easily make several to give out to friends and family. If you do not need invitations, you can stamp a Halloween greeting inside and give as little cards or change the theme and they are perfect little valentines.
Having a Halloween party? Think of ways you can co-ordinate other items with what you already have! Just let your imagination run free. Here are the Instructions for these little cards.
Hope you have fun with these projects. Leave me a comment and let me know.
Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!
The first is a sour cream treat holder. I love these little gems. They make up really quickly and can be decorated and embellished in so many ways. The ones I did today have large tags on them so that you can write a name or stamp a sentiment on the tag backs. I have made them with spiders crawling all over them and pumpkins randomly stamped. Each will hold a small handfull of candy (which you have to remember to insert in the container before you seal the second end). Here is the PDF Instruction Sheet with basic instructions for creating a sour cream container.

Funky Pheasant
Good Morning! It's Funky Friday again. This week I got to use a new stamp set for my Funky Friday example - Autumn Days. I brayered the background on Glossy White cardstock and then stamped the pheasant with Soft Suede and embossed it with clear embossing powder. For the paisley strip I rolled Chocolate Chip ink over a Pumpkin Pie base using the Paisley Party wheel. The background paper is from the Autumn Spice DSP Specialty pack.
I encourage everyone to visit Funky Friday Craft Challenges to see the absolutely gorgeous examples from the other ladies on the design team. Who knows, you may even want to give the challenge a try.
Happy Stamping!

Ten Days of Halloween Ideas - Day One
Hi!
Welcome to the Ten Days of Halloween Ideas! For the next ten days, I am going to offer a different Halloween related project each day and I will include a PDF instruction sheet for each.
I am starting today with a small little treat box which will hold 9 Hershey's Kisses or quite a bit of candy corn. You can use any acetate sheet for this box - I just happened to have one which has little black polka dots all over it.
I decorated the box with a big juicy spider but you may let your imagination run free. You can also use ribbon, buttons or any number of embellishments. I just found that since the box is tiny, I did not want to clutter it up.
I hope you give this project a try. Here are the Instructions.
Don't forget, at the end of the ten days I will randomly choose one person from all the comments I receive to win some blog candy.

Lovely As A Tree
Good afternoon!
I want to show you this card I made for the Create With Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge #119. I knew I wanted to use the Lovely As A Tree stamp set which I just got yesterday. I decided to stamp the large pine tree on Glossy White cardstock and sponge around it with Bordering Blue and Night of Navy. For the snowflakes, I cut them out, drew a line on each with multipurpose glue and sprinkled them with Dazzling Diamonds and put a stick on gem in the centre of each. The bow is 1" wide organdy ribbon. To highlight the tree, I added lines with gel pen on most of the branches

Project Nugget Purse
Hello to all!
Today I would like to show you the tiny nugget purses I made for the Project Tuesday Challenge this week. I decided to use up some left over cardstock I had which has sparkly black and red snowflakes on it. I embossed the large snowflakes using Versa Mark and black embossing powder and the stamp set Serene Snowflakes. I punched out red scalloped circles to put behind then and then made the purse handles by stringing beads on wire and looping thew handle through the top of the purse. Little Hersheys Nuggets are wrapped in the same cardstock and slid inside. These little treat holders are so quick to put together that you could easily make several for party favours or just to pass out to any girls you know.
Hoping you have a great afternoon! I will be back later on with more info on the Ten Days of Halloween!

Unscripted Coffee Break
HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!
Wow, what a bonus it is WCMD and it's
Unscriped Sketches Sketch It Saturday both at the same time! A great way to celebrate would be to join in our sketch challenge this week. My example is a card I made with The Morning Cup stamp set and the Take a Sip stampin wheel. My colours are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight. I used the DSP from the Holiday Mini called Autumn Spice. I thought that instead of ribbon I would use some red wood beads (from my jewellery making phase) to tie the design together.
