Unscripted Easter Blossoms

Good morning!  Hope spring is starting to happen where you live.  it is in Northern Ontario.  And the onset of spring is what inspired this card.  This is my example for the challenge at Unscripted Sketches this week.

The background for this card is one I saw on Andrea Walford's site.  You sponge on two colours of ink, blend them togetherand then sprinkle with water either from a paint brush or a toothbrush.  In the photo, the yellow appears much "yellower" than it really is - it looks much better in person.  I really like that watermarked look (even though it does not show up very well in the picture).
Colours I used are Basic Black, Barely Banana and Apricot Appeal.  I know black is not usually a spring colour but it works pretty well.

Please visit Unscripted Sketches.  We have several new designers and that means a whole host of new and exciting ideas.  Who knows, you may want to try our challenge.  Until later......
Happy Stamping!
