Floral Mini Album

Hi! As promised, I finished my mini album and  I want to share it with you.  It is an envelope mini made out of business envelopes.  You need six of them to complete the project.
There are lots of pictures but I wanted to show you all the pages and pockets I included. (I did not pull the tags out of the end flaps as they are all the same).
The cover is pretty simple with a key, flowers and a butterfly cut from the paper pack.
The first pair of pages features a pocket to hold three small tags, an acrylic photo mat, a journalling spot and the pocket in the flap.
I love the striped pocket in the second pair of pages.  There is also a photo mat, a large slide-in tag and the pocket under the flap.

This is my favourite tag in the album - a little tag booklet which tucks into the pocket on the left page of the third pair.  The eyelet in the centre forms another pocket on each side of the page.
This tag has a flap which opens show a tag pocket, a photo mat  and a journalling spot.  I did a fair amount of stamping off and then background stamping in this book.

The eyelet pocket is really a paper doily which I cut and reinforced with white card stock.  it holds two small butterfly tags.  A large tag tucks into the pocket.  The band on the right page is acrylic which is stamped and embellished and a large tag tucks underneath.
On one side of the large tag is a photo mat and the reverse is a journalling spot with stamping down the edge.  I like the effect that stamping down the side creates.

These pages have a bird tag with a metal flower acting as a pull tab, a scalloped oval tag which fits under a wrapped string  and   a gate fold pocket and tag.  The flower on the tag acts as a closure for the gate fold pocket.  I may go back and add some embellishment to the gate fold - it is kind of plain looking.

On the final pair of pages there is a little booklet of tags which tucks into the left pocket.  Under the booklet, I have included a journalling spot.  The right page is simply a frame for a special picture.

I hope you have enjoyed this glimpse of my floral album  and that you did not find this post too long.
Thanks for visiting!
