Hi, sorry it has been a whole week since I last posted but it has been the busiest week ever. I did have time, however, to get my dt example for this week's challenge at UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES finished. I decided to do another mini album, and the sketch was my inspiration for the cover. To create the cover, I used a mixed media technique. I first coated my chipboard with gesso and then, when dry, I used mod podge to adhere different papers, lace and cutouts to the cover. The result is a fairly hard cover. I then placed the flower and some beads in the corner. As the theme of the paper is items in an attic, I kept the colours soft and did some sponging in brown here and there.
I hope to finish the album this weekend.
Please visit UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES to see the examples from the other ladies on our team. You will love their designs. If you want to see my finished album, I hope to have pictures up on Monday or Tuesday. Please just keep checking.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!
Love this CherylAnn. I am trying to do more vintage looking projects, but just have not hit the nail on the head just yet. You have done a wonderful job. TFS
