Try Stampin' Challenge #73

Hi, everyone!
It has been a few days since I last posted and I apologize for that.  But today I have my example card for the sketch at TRY STAMPIN' ON TUESDAY.  Our sketch is a basic one with lots of possibilities.
For my card, I decided to use an old cereal box as the card base.
I mod podged an old pattern piece to it to create the background.  Then I used stamps, stencils from found items, paint, sprays and modeling paste to create pattern and texture.  I ripped the pattern off the cereal cardboard to give a soft, tattered edge.  For the images, I stamped everything on old book pages.  Both stamp sets I used are discontinued.
I like how this card turned out but I wish that I had a softer butterfly image to use which was small enough.  I had the perfect one but it was just too big.
I hope you enjoy the serenity of this card and that you may give some different techniques a try as well.
Thanks for visiting and please check out TRY STAMPIN' ON TUESDAY.  You will be happy you did.
