Unscripted Sketches #190

Well, Christmas is getting close and I hope you are all enjoying the season.  Make sure you take some time for yourselves this time of year - helps with the stress and the sanity. LOL
Today I have my sample card for the challenge at UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES this week. And it is not a Christmas (or Halloween) card.
Once again, I used a sketch of a little girl that I drew.  I am considering doing some digital stamps from my sketches if I can figure out the logistics - but that is in the new year.
I decided to use up some scraps of papers. I have been looking for a place to use the "bird" paper  and it just seemed to fit this card.  The sentiment and birds are cut out using the postage stamp punch from SU and the "thank you" is from one of their stamp sets as well. All papers are SU too.
My image began as a drawing in my sketch book.  I took a pic of her, edited it in Photoshop and then printed her on white card stock and coloured her with my Copics markers.  All that was left was to cut her out, glue her on and then add the flower head (a designer brad).
I really think she is a cutie and I hope you do as well.  Visit UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES to view the other DT samples and to enter our challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. You drew her?! That's fantastic. Love the use of the brad. Great card ♥
