Good Saturday morning to everyone!
Now that I am trying to get back on track, I have my first design team sample for UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES in quite a while. I did not get my card in on time last week so that did not count.
Our sketch this week is a very versatile one but there is a catch. Sarah asked us NOT to make a card.
I decided to alter a notebook and turn it into an art journal for Annie. I used one of my own drawings as the image and coloured it with Copics.
I made her cheeks little round circles so that she looks like a doll.
The dress is collaged on. After I coloured her I cut her out and pasted her on.
The papers are Stampin' Up and I adhered the butterflies in two layers. The first is attached directly to the background and the top layer is attached with pop dots to create dimension. The wording is simply printed on the printer, punched out and glued down.
Hint: I had no pink pearls for the butterfly bodies so I coloured them with the Copics. This is a quick and easy way to do it and you do not have to worry about keeping coloured pearls on hand.
Please visit UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES and give our 200th challenge a try.
See you later!

It's gorgeous hun...and I love the colours too....:o)
